RICHMOND—Economic assistance is available from the U.S. Small Business Administration for aquaculture enterprises that experienced damage from Hurricane Irene in the counties of Brunswick, Charlotte, Dinwiddie, Greensville, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Nottoway, Prince Edward, Southampton and Sussex and the city of Emporia.
Assistance also is available for aquaculture and nursery operations that experienced damage due to drought and excessive heat between May 25 and
Aug. 27 in the counties of Amelia, Bedford, Buckingham, Campbell, Chesterfield, Cumberland, Fluvanna, Franklin, Goochland, Halifax, Henrico, Henry, Pittsylvania, Powhatan and Prince Edward and the city of Danville.
