The Membership Advantage includes Farm Bureau’s safety programs to protect you and your loved ones from harm.

The No. 1 cause of farm fatalities is tractor rollovers. To combat that, Virginia Farm Bureau Safety offers a $200 incentive to members who have a factory-built rollover protective structure and seat belt installed by an authorized dealer or by the member following manufacturers’ instructions on any tractor bought without a ROPS. If you add a sun canopy at the same time, Farm Bureau offers an additional $200 incentive.

To protect members’ farm equipment from fire, Farm Bureau provides members with one 10-pound fire extinguisher to mount on eligible equipment. Farm safety inspections are also available at no cost.

In participating counties, older drivers can take advantage of Farm Bureau-sponsored AARP driving courses for those 55 and older. Participants who complete the $10 program qualify for a discount on their auto insurance premiums.  

Discounts on child and booster car seats and rebates on all-terrain vehicle helmets are also part of the Membership Advantage.
