Farm Bureau producer members who want to market their products can take advantage of the company’s various commodity marketing services.

From aquaculture to wine grapes, the commodity/marketing department has advisory committees dedicated to interacting with the private sector, regulatory agencies, Virginia Cooperative Extension and a wide range of organizations on behalf of producer members.

Our grain division is a licensed grain dealer to help producer members buy and sell bulk loads of corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, oats and feed ingredients.

Risk management guidance for producer members is also a membership advantage. The commodity/marketing department has helped members form groups to define and develop new markets for their products.

Farm Bureau also is a competitive supplier of truck and farm machinery tires, batteries, and oil and grease products, as well as baler twine, disk blades, plow parts and cutting parts for hay equipment and combines—from its warehouse in Henrico County and through 250 approved dealers statewide.
